Is there going to be a halo movie?

I heard that steven steliberg is interested in geting screen writes along with dream works.
I known microsoft is scared of the movie bombing the fransize, but if they get steven they should not have to worry to much, i mean have you ever seen a steliberg movie that was bad?

Last I heard on a Halo film, it was being made, then was scrapped.

i have only seen saving private ryan and i loved the movie! If he does make one he might want to avoid Cheifs story...WAY to much Lore behind that guy. To make a Halo movie REAL simple he could make one about a marine/ODST. But i nthe end Video Game movies fail becuase they stray away from lore / not enough lore. =/!

I think they had some plan's for Chief's story, but that's the past now... So they might've dropped it :c
