lost halo 3 beanie?

I'm a 9th grader Ok I have a very good friend Bob.This morning I borrowed a Halo hat from Bob. This hat means alot to Bob as his childhoodbestfriend from gave it to him and naturally I want to take good care of it. So, today while I was going trick-or-treating with people in my neighborhood, this one kid ripped the hat of my head and while I was getting candy, hid it under a car. I asked him where it is, and he pretended to put it in his bag. Naturally,I thought that was where the Halo hat was and for a few minutes I kept asking him to give it back. Then I got annoyed and wrestled the bag from him but did not see the hat there. Finally, he told me that he actually left it under a car. By this time we were 5 houses down from the spot and when i rushed back, the hat was gone Ive told his parents about this and he will pay 15 bucks for it but its not the same as the hat. do i look to buy another hat? just give him the money? look for the hat some more? what do you recommend doing?

Explain it to the kid whose hat is was. He shouldn't get mad at you. It wasn't your fault. You're not to blame. that punk-ass kid is! Ask the hat kid if he justs wants the money or if you should buy him a new one.

you do realize you can press for charges? obviously $15 won't make it up, neither will another hat. that hat was a special gift to your friend, it had moral value. you can sue him for emotional damage, and attempted robbery and assault. i'm serious, although you can never replace the hat, you can always get more money out of him. and why is this in the singles&dating section?

Buy him the same hat , then the two of you should go kick that kids butt .
