May someone please describe what's in Halo 3 ODST?

Ok so here's the thing. In order for me to get M games and the only M game that so far that i'm aware of aloud to get is anything that is within the Halo series but my dad has to read a good review about this game. I want to know if the game is good like is there too much violence in it, to much blood, and anything like that. I've been looking all over the internet to look for any reviews on this game day after day and no luck. If you could please tell me soon and be very specific that would be great. Thanks. :)

The campaign is great, i think better than halo 3, you are playing as an ODST which means you can actually die (unlike in halo). It involve a little more tactics than Halo 3 as you will need to find health and the enemy weapons hurt you much more. but the game is no more violent than any of the other halos and there is very limited or no sight of blood.

The campaign has a coop option which allows you to play with three other people through the entire game (this makes legendary a little easier).

The fire fight mode is also very good and addictive. This allows you and up to 3 friends to fight against waves of covenant to gain the highest possible score.
