My friends halo 3 isnt letting him download maps and he bought then all?

He has been playing games on halo 3 and it wont let him play any of the maps and when we go into matchmaking we would sit in there for a while then it would let him download the map, but when we go into a costom game we would sent in there and wait like an hour for the map to download like it would go from like 1% to 2% in like 5 to 10 sec and thats a long time when going to 100%. Hes getting real frustrated and he wants to leave cause hes so mad. Andd its not because he downloaded the new maps because he did and he took his game out and cleaned it all the time. Then its a new xbox and he had it for like 4 months. Please help

If you are talking about downloading the legendary map (or the new map Cold storage which is free) pack, it cost 600 Microsoft points. You go into marketplace and download the maps. What I would do is sit in the Marketplace area with the screen set-up to where it shows the percentage of the download.

If he already downloaded the map and every time he gets on it takes forever for the map to load when he is trying to play it, that's life. It usually would take 1-2minutes to load. Patience is a virtue. Doesn't matter if it's a fresh xbox 360 or a old one.

You have to use a Xbox 360 and not a Xbox regular
