my x-box is broken after playing halo 3?

I would like to know why it is doing this and how to fix it

I had an Xbox that froze up on the home screen, All the Xbox crew told me when I called was that the Xbox has a certain amount of time before they break down, they would need to replace a part that costs about $200, I just bought a new one instead of wasting that money

Depends on what is happening. My fiance had taken 2 xboxes back for the reason that they blew up! They get over heated very quickly! If you have 4 red lights on the start up key, it means ur xbox is toasted, take it back!

it was just coincidence that it happened after playing halo so its not the games fault...to be honest most people are having trouble with their 360 and ps3's too. hopefully you have kept the reciept of purchase...take it back to your store you bought it from and explain to them...they will normally give u a helpline to call where microsoft take more money from you for calling them to report "their" product breaking on you. they will normally arrange to pick up the xbox and repair it or replace it... but at the end of the day they will break and break till the end of time. after my second xbox broken i got my money back on the grounds that microsoft were selling me a faulty product not worth my money and i bought a wii and i'll tell you, its better playing games and not worrying when the next time you're console will break down

when halo 3 came out, it came in a metal box, which interfered with the disk, so the game wouldnt work, but sometimes people would get it in the metal box, play the game fine, and find some time later their xbox doesnt work. that my be your problem. you can return it for full reimbursement and possibly a new xbox

its probally the x box just take to best buy or some were then they might do it for free(depends on what the problem is )

Halo 3 is not the problem- it is most probably the xbox or you have just spent too much time on it or kept it running for long periods of time both of which are not good for the xbox's health! Turn off the xbox for a couple of hours then try a different game! If it works you know it is halo 3 if it dont then you know you need to tak it back!

the xbox 360s now are like prototypes. they are used by microsoft to look for any faults in the console. 360s get viruses when u play too much

X-box has a lot of hardware issues that Microsoft has acknowledged and for most units have extended the warranty to three years. Take it back to the store where you bought it to get your warranty serviced or call the x-box help line directly.

i depends if the disc is scratched alot or something broke inside the x-box. take it back just in case.
