Need Help in Halo 3!?

When i put halo in my 360 it works fine, but then when i try to do like campaign or any other thing it always says unable to read disc.i just got it today(november 28). it doesn't even have scratches!and i wiped it and washed it many times please tell me what to do
it is not a used game

Im guessing it is used. Maybe you got scammed. When i wash my disk and wipe it with my shirt which is clean, i put it back in, it works for me Maybe you can get it repaired, or buy another game.
