Need help puting halo in movie maker?

yea i need help i got movie maker on a disk and i wanna know how to import halo arms race or clips from other halo vids to movie maker it keeps saying the file cant be imported,is there a place i can download a halo clip and try to import it in movie maker?thanks!

Check to see what kind of files the videos are, .mpg, .avi, etc. I'm not sure what limitations Movie Maker has on video imports, so you'll have to search for that. I know for a fact that .avi files will import. I also had this problem. I got a new video camera for Christmas and when I tried importing the videos, it wouldn't let me. So I had to install these "codecs" before I could import them. Hope I helped!
