Playing Halo 1 Online help

I just bought Halo 1 for PC. I have all the other requirements that you need like windows vista and all that, but when i try to play multilayer and chose internet, it says "you need administration privileges to download this patch". what do i need to do?
Yes, i am the administrator to the computer, but it still won't let me.

Are you the administrator for the computer? To check click start then go up and click your picture next to your name then choose a new picture and then click change my profile. If it says that you are not a administrator then get on a administrator profile and do the same thing i told you except click switch profiles or something like that.
