in their time they all get 5/5 , but now halo 1 and 2 are outclassed (graphics wise) all great though

Baist opinion alert 
Halo 1:5 Stars, loved it for the pc, online was great so were the graphics
Halo 2:4, better one player but online wasnt as good, likely because i didnt have it set up right at the time and had tons of lag.
Halo 3:4 Stars, havnt got into it properly yet, although its really good so far im enjoying COD4 more =D
So halo for the pc is the winner to me but it will seem a bit dated now.

i actually like all of them equally because im a big halo fan so i give them all 10's
I think its fair to say that halo1 was revolutionary in terms of first person shooters for its time, but as it has been mentioned it is outdated but i think its fair to say at the time it would have easily deserved a 5.
Halo2 wasn't particularly fantastic in terms of a story line if you ask me, (being a big fan of the first) but the multiplayer via xbox live was the best for xbox and still is in my opinion. That would still be given a 5 out of 5 from me because of the lifetime the multiplayer provided.
Halo3 was what i expected. I still haven't been compelled to finish the story line as of yet even though the addition of co-op via the Internet was a nice touch. Nevertheless i still think some of the multiplayer maps were to simplistic and unimaginative. The ranking system is alot easier and therefore doesn't seem to create any distinctions between levels of skill and people that just play it too much. Nevertheless i still think it makes for incredibly good online play but because of titles such as Call of Duty 4 it does mean competition has dragged its individuality down slightly. Therefore i think Halo3 deserves a 4.5 out of 5. Its a consistent trilogy which hasn't disappointed me to date but i do think they perfected the multiplayer system with Halo2.
