Question about Xbox 360 live/halo 3.?

Can 2 or more people play on one Xbox 360 while playing Halo 3, or some other game, on Xbox Live? Is there some guest option?

yeup i have halo 3 myself just let him sign in as a guest and it will come up as YourNameHere(1) and then you can play any social playlist but not ranked HAVE FUN

Yes you can play split screen on Halo 3 while online. You cant play ranked if the other person is just a guest. If they have their own profile and xbox live account on the same Xbox then you can play ranked while on split screen, and you are always on the same team.
