Same 10 Skills In Halo 3 Do They Cont?

I'm trying to get Lieutenant grade 2 rank or just Lieutenant. but i need ten skills if i did like 10 beat downs would i rank up or do i need 10 different skills?
well i know i have to do it in one match but what i want to know is if i do the same skill like a head shot or assassin or beat down 10 time in one match will it cont or do i have to get 10 different skills in one match.
oh Ok then what is the best way to get your skill up then yes i know in im a dumb ****

when you go into a ranked game lobby in matchmaking, your name will have a small number next to it, this is you trueskill rank in that particular gametype and you will need to do well in that game type to make it go up. Your ranks from each game type do not combine, so you will have to get up to rank 10 in a single game type to get lieutenant.
