Dont get either of them..........amazingly, halo trial has more players online than halo 1 and halo 2 combined. Halo 1 i think is better because there are less noobs(ppl who play cheap i.e use rockets, vehicles,etc.). Halo 2 is expensive but the storyline is wack. On average there are about 2000 players online on halo trial every minute so its still kinda popular....ranked #21 on xfire.com. The cons of getting halo trial is that only the map blood gultch is available but the map is good enough to last for a long time without getting bored.
If you decide to get halo 1 or 2 dont pay for it cause i dont think its worth to get either. Try using points2shop.com to get free stuff from amazon by completing offers and playing games. I use this site once in awhile to get that free game from time to time.
