Should i get Halo 3 ( best answer gets 10 points )?

OK, so im about to get a 360, and i never have played halo or halo 2, but recently ive been playing halo 3 at my friends house and i like it. so should i buy the game, or would it be confusing, because i havent played the first two.

but it. it is very very fun with multiplayer and the campaign is fun too. story might be confusing, so go online and read a little of a summary of the halos. if you have a chance, but it. definitely buy it. you will be very happy with the choice too.
O, and did a mention that the price of halo 3 is $20 lower on amazon? yes it is. it is $40!!

definitely. ive had it since july and i still love xbox live bunch of stuff to do all the time. and halo 3 owns cod 4 because the only thing fun about is playin online because the campaign is short and borin.if u dont hv xbox live with halo 3 no problem theres Forge which u can edit maps usin the items at ur disposal and theater which u can watch films from campaign matchmakin custom games and forge and take screenshots.

you really dont need to have played halo or halo 2 to play halo 3
besides the best part is the playing online thing at matchmaking so just buy it

Seriously I don't think the story matters that much. Actually I think the majority of people really play Halo(2 and 3, not as sure about 1) for the multiplayer. If you like the game then get it. If you get Live Gold then all the better.

I was in the same situation as you when I got my xbox 360 on Christmas of 2007. I had never played Halo 1 or 2, but I decided to buy Halo 3. In my experience, I can say that yes, there will be things that you might not understand just by playing this game alone, but the fun far outweighs that. In other words, just because you might not understand the story is no reason to not buy this game, it's a great game regardless. I played it and loved it, and to this day I still haven't played Halo 1 or 2.

The key aspect is the online multiplayer, it's great. But with so many new games out, there might not be as many people playing Halo 3 online as there used to be a few short months ago. So I suggest that you look into Gears of War 2 or Call of Duty World at War, since the releases of these games made a lot of people stop playing Halo 3. Both are great games that you are sure to enjoy if you like Halo 3.

Well, there's nothing more fun then doing co-op campaign with a bunch of your friends, or woopin some serious butt on xbox live, either way it's a ball, so i would recommend you buying it.
