should i get halo 3 or halo 3 ODST?

well i am getting an xbox 360 soon and would like to know which one has a better campaign and a better online gameplay?

they're different but equal. I've played halo 3 and seen videos of odst. Here's a list of differences

Halo 3:

-more fast-paced
-I've personally played this and its awesome
-tons of replay value

halo 3 odst

-a few more weapons
-2 discs; one is purely multiplayer
-more open worlds

look for gameplay videos of each on youtube and decide for yourself.

I also got odst over halo 3
why?
Odst has every online map that halo 3 has AND MORE. Firefight is also ONLY ON ODST. Firefight alone justifies the purchase of the game
the campaign is shorter than H3, but it is more fun and challenging. If your a noob like me, then the campaign can last you 8 hours on legendary. And let me tell you, it is very rewarding.
Odst has more weapons as well. My friend who has H3 will not buy odst only because he has all the H3 maps online and doesn't want to pay full price for a short game.
He says that if he didn't have H3 he would get odst over it for sure.

Odst because if you get that then you get halo 3 and odst on 2 Cds

Halo 3 was great, ODST was a massive letdown, so short and the same engine. Also if you can get borderlands and MW2.
