Should i get Halo 3 or Halo 3 ODST?

I'm getting an Xbox 360 for christmas and i'm allowed to get one game with it, so should i get Halo 3 or Halo 3 ODST. I don't really care about the campaign, the main thing i care about is the xbox live part of it, just like social slayer, and social skirmish, and all, the online part, which has better xbox live aspects.

so which in your opinion is better, Halo 3, or Halo 3 ODST?
