Should I swap my normal Xbox 360 for a friend's Halo 3 edition 360?

Hey, I have a normal xbox 360, brand new (Microsoft sent a new one because my other one went in for repairs), and my friend has a halo 3 edition xbox he got from another friend in a trade. I was wondering if I should trade xbox's with him, i'm a halo whore and he just wants a normal edition 360. The halo 3 edition is not as new, but everything functions normally other than a pop stain inside the USB cover on the front. Also, would I be able to register the halo xbox under my name even if someone else has it registered? Would my warranty from my other xbox be able to be moved over to the halo 3 one?

Well I like halo but I would rather keep the brand new stainless xbox than a halo one. It's pretty cool but your xbox is worth more so you could trade it for money or sell it and get one.
