sooo whats the trick to doing the seven on seven achievement on halo 3?

ive tried 3 months in a row, ... i don't get it...

ok all you need to do is get 7 xp in any thing like rumble pit, lone wolves, team snipers, etc. then on the 7th day of any month go to the play list and the achievement should come up.
