(((This is one for the gamers))) What do people really think of Halo 3?

So I finally got my hands on Halo 3 and I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the campaign.
I thought the story line was absolutely cheesy and none of the in-game characters say or do anything interesting at all.
All the reviews for this game led me to believe it would be amazing so I just wanna know what other people thought of the game?

In my personal opinion, I don't like it.
The game is way too overrated, and everyone loves it, I think, because of the "amazing graphics". Wait, let me rephrase that: "graphics that are nothing special because every other game on the 360 has that same type of graphics".
Most people who play it think they're so cool. They think that Halo is "the s#!t" and it's the best game ever. They haven't even reached puberty, yet! XD
Maybe my reason for not liking it is because I'm more of a retro gamer. Maybe I'm not that big of a 360 fan, or maybe I just like Left 4 Dead more.

This is my opinion: Halo is not that great.
