Was playing halo 3 and my 360 scratched my disk....fixing?

I was playing halo 3 on live and I went to move my xbox (to get better connection) and it scratched my disk. It still works but it wont let me do some of the compaign. I got it like a week or 2 ago so im thinking of just returning it and getting a new one. I might also just go to blockbuster and switch them but im not sure if they have stickers on the game. But any easy way of fixing the disk? Toothpaste DOES NOT WORK!!! So people who say it does dont listen to them...

Well for my disks i went to best buy and bought a disk cleaner. If its just a surface scratch then you can fix it with that. If it looks real deep then just get a new one cause you cant fix that i tried with my halo 2 awhile ago and i couldent fix it the scratch was to deep. Go to best buy and buy one for like 20 bucks or so if its a light scratch. If not get a new one.
