kinda like a tournament thing where people pay to play. The thing I kinda always wonderd about is.. we are playing an "M" rated video game, shooting, killing, blow stuff up video game even after the principle OK'ayed it....I was thinking this was kinda odd.. considering school shootings are becoming more and more prominent and here we are at school doing this. Wouldn't a High School especially, want to alienate any type of violence wether it be real life or on a video game?
Your opinions?
I forgot to mention it's for fundraising...

By the time people are teenagers most of the damage is already done. So long as they aren't playing Halo in kindergarten, I don't see anything wrong with that.

In fact, I'm now quite jealous.

That is sending a mixed message. Because you mentioned it was a fundraiser, it sounds like they wanted to organize whatever it took to get the students there to participate. I guess their reasoning is, since they (the kids) would be playing it at home, why not here?
Unfortunately, schools are not the safe-haven they once were.
