what ever happend to the Halo movie?

Bungie was making a halo movie and there was a intro clip on youtube but the movie never released, What happend?

it was being produced by peter Jackson of Lord of the rings fame. It had a director attached, who made those shorts on youtube, they weren't for the movie but to showcase what could be done.

unfortunately the studio financing the film pulled out so the film couldn't go into production. Apparently the film isn't completely dead but nothing has been heard for a while now.

The Sci-Fi version of G.I. Joe will be coming out first. Maybe the Halo gang thought they'd look like copycats? But it's the other way around.

Sci-Fi G.I. Joe? It's the most retarded thing ever invented.

Well its been quite some time since we have posted. Mainly due to not much new info coming out. But we've gathered all the new info we could find and have updated the site.

- The Halo Movie's current status is in production (imdb.com). Does that mean their filming, probably not, but it's better then the status being canceled.
