What is a halo 3 stagma and how do i find out what mine is?

I asked my friend why i had not ranked up in lone wolves after 2 first places and he said i must have a bad stagma, or i think that is how it is spelled/pronounced. what is a stagma and how do i make it better? and is there any way to know what level your stagma is at?
Trust me i do not need help with ranking up. i am a colonel. that is higher than a major and a commander. do not believe me? check it out on bungie. ragingchickens3. can someone please tell me what a stagma is?

because its hard to lvl up in lone wolves. i dont know what a stagma is. but i guarantee you will have far more fun trying to level up in team slayer. you get to be with people so you can make friends too.

im a major and i got to 30 playing team slayer and made a lot of friends too.

I do not know what stagma is and I am a lieutenant Grade 2 and i got where I am because i play team slayer. Download the Heroic map pack its free and play Double XP weekend.
