what is Halo 1 rated for? Intense violence? What???

It is rated Mature for violence, and there is some blood. It seems silly, since there are worse games out there and parents buy M games for their kids anyway, but there you are.

And i've played the whole game and I'm pretty sure its because they use a little bit of curse words and blood.
it's not that bad at all though.
i was 10 when I first started playing it and I turned out okay (i'm not violent or crude or anything) so you shouldnt have any worries about you're kids
