What is Halo 3 about?

Can someone please give me a review on the online features and campaign of Halo 3?

Like the weapons and vehicles.

( I am going to trade this with my friend for Gears 1, is that a good deal. Already beat Gears so its kinda useless now. So thought I would trade Him from Halo 3

I recommend you try and play the first two games because when i first bought it(a year ago on Saturday) I had no idea about the story mode even though my friend did and he explained it a couple hundred times. So he owned the first two and after beating them with him the story started to fall together like a jigsaw puzzle and now it makes sense.
online mode: Awsome theres always someone at your skill level on and theres training camp for you to get better. Theres always a tournament every month and team play is just the best whether its online or offline with friends.....Gears 1 was good too

Don't even bother learning about Halo 3 right.. just trade your friend before it's too late. Because to me, that's a great deal! Considering that Halo 3 is still selling for around $40. Gears 1 is no where near that.

Long story short, H3 is about aliens, guns and mayhem, Master Chief (spartan), guns and more mayhem, saving Cortana, guns and even more mayhem, and driving the Warthog like a mad man.

Campaign is ok, but the real fun starts in Multiplayer. Like I said, great deal.. do it.
