what is the big deal with Halo 3?

I am sick of hearing all these guys talk about Halo. I mean, helloooo, it's just a game. and from what i've seen, it's pretty lame. i would definitely not want a boyfriend who plays video games too much.
i mean come on its high school, don't they have anything better to do?
anyone agree, disagree? i want some opinions on this.

I dont know, its a fun FPS, but people get addicted WAY too easy. All I see is a space guy with huge ass guns killing aliens. I'm not quite sure why everyone loves it. I don't think ANYONE will find out. I suggest you do a few tests, because if you find out why its so good, you can sell your hypothesis to real scientists for millions, maybe billions, because I sure as hell know they've been trying to figure this out since the series started lol.

Well if you are a girl violence and shooters wont appeal to you as much. Its a great game filled with action and eciment if your into that kind of thing.

i could say the same thing about girls and shopping.
a lot of girls absolutely love shopping (not necessarily u do, just an example), and i see it as just u go get what u need and leave the store

and about the not having anything better to do, using my example, dont girls in high school have anything better to do than worry about vanity?

Grown men in their 20's, 30's and even 40's play this game. Video games aren't something that is immature anymore. Most guys play video games through out their life. They usually slow down, usually, when they start to settle down and have a family. Then they have like a day or two of the month when a bunch of guys come over and play some halo, madden, gears of war, and other games of the such.

All in all, if they play too much yes, thats bad but it will be a little bit hard to find a guy who doesn't play any games.

I disagree completely! Halo 3 is one of the funnest games to ever come out. The story line is amazing due to Master Chiefs character. Have you played Halo3 yet to declare that it looks "lame"?
