What is the difference between Halo 1 and Halo 1 combat evolved?

What is the difference between Halo 1 and Halo 1 combat evolved? I am looking at getting an xbox 360 and beating halo from the very start. I have played it before of course, but I was just curious about the different titles for the first game. Please tell me what the difference is-if there is any. Thanks

Halo 1 is Halo:Combat Evolved

Halo 1 is called Halo:Combat Evolved because they weren't sure if they would make sequels, btw you don't need to get halo 1 in the stores, you can just by the 360, buy some gamer points from the store, go home, connect to live and download halo from the xbox live marketplace, its about half the price of the actual disk!

i think the combat evolved has more maps when ur playing with 2 or more people. i'm not a 100% sure.
