What is the planet seen in the special legendary scene at the end of halo 3?

What is the planet you see in the special scene at the end of the halo 3 when u finish on legendary? Some people say its marathon, the planet in one of Bungie's early games. Others say its Onyx where the last Spartans are. Does anyone know what it actually is?
