What weapons in Halo 3 would you use for quick, fun, and easy mid range kills?

Let me list it out for you..

By weapons;

1)Needler
>Very good fire rate, if aim correctly, a one hit kill.
2)AssaultRifle
>Good rate of fire, low ammo
3)Flamethrower
>Hinders movement, if aim near abdomen a sure one hit kill
4)Gravity Hammer
>A shockwave created making any grenades or missile bounce back, slow attack
5)Energy Sword
>Can reach a mid range attack, makes the user lunge.

List by grenades;
1)Firebomb
>Best if many enemies are close together, will burn them slowly
2)Plasma grenade
>Sticky and and best if attached to an enemy
3)Frag grenade
>Good splash damage, bouncy
4)Spike grenade
>Worst grenade, useful if able to throw inside bubble shield...
