What's the scoop with Halo 3 : Recon?

I saw the bungie.net trailer, looks pretty hot! I'm definitely going to get it, but does anybody know about the gameplay or upcoming information? Thanks in advance.
I'm not talking about the Flaming Hayabusa helmet, it's the next game that Bungie is working on!

How do you know your gonna get it? You have to do something amazing or be the first to do something to get recon. Especially flaming recon.
