When you find a skull in co-op campaign on Halo 3, not on xboxlive, is it

unlocked in both profiles?
i couldn't find the catch skull, and i looked on the web and they said that you had to do the whole campaign on normal or get the skulls in order. I don't have much time and i don't want to start another profile and find the skulls all over again.
