where can i get a new copy of halo 1 for an xbox?

Most stores have it at the end of the isles, on the discount items shelf. At Target and Best buy I know that there discount games are at the end of the isles in the video game section.

You can also go a Book & Music or Gamestop store and look for one, I'm sure they will have it.

Go to like gamestop or something, but didn't they just release an update in which you can actually download it???
