where's my halo 3 skulls!?!??!?

On some skulls I'm looking for, they just simply aren't there. anyone have an explanation to my problem? for one I've even looked up a video on where to find it and it still wasn't in the exact same spot. Am I doing anything wrong? is it a glitch? tell me people!

Sometimes things you do will trigger them to disappear. Like the level with the two anti-air wraiths.....if you kill the wraiths the skull will disappear. Also, for some skulls you have to be on certain difficulty levels.

The skulls don't show up on the easy difficulty, you must be playing at normal difficulty or above. Here is a pretty good video in the sources section that shows the gold skulls, just in case.
