who did my halo 3 armor glitch away?

OK so this is what happened i was playing halo 3 and i got 830 gamer score for beating the game and stuff and i looked at my armor i got security shoulder pads and head i put them on with mark vi body piece and they disappeared

i don't know how that happen but i would like some help
