Why am I not getting EXP in Halo 3?

I just got my 360...set up my xbox live gold...and started playin halo online...i became a recruit...then i started winning games in lone wolves and have been on the winning team in teamed slayer numerous times...my skill number is going up...but why am i still at 0 EXP??? i haven't quit out any games to lose exp...and i've been a recruit for two weeks now because of this...whats going on???

This is a dumb glitch in bungies servers. Ive had this happen before. Best advice is to play a couple of Social matches. Playing one rank for too long stops you from getting exp. The fact that you have none is disturbing though. Exp is earned from getting lots of kills, and medals. So maybe you need to up your game.
