Why are all kids crazy about that Halo 3?

Like my little cousin for example. He was crazy about that game and asking me for a halo3? wht's a halo 3?
I was only convinced when I saw this big billboard of it.

and now he is asking me to buy him an Xbox?

thats basically it, I like the thing I have to admit its really fun you should try it out sometime

Its the hype of war.. the media has sold this too young folks to get involved with the military. Kids see how the combat strategy works and badda bing they think they can handle it.
I used to play war with my buddies when I was younger, but we did it outside and used sticks as makeshift rifles.

halo 3 is just a first person shooter game that is most famous for its online multiplayer games. However, it also requires teamwork and strategy like chess with explosives and jeeps and guns and land mines and well you get the idea right?

halo 3 is amazing. it has an entire book series too.
so i'm a little bit of a video game nerd. =)
but it's a really fun game when you're older.
you're basically going through as a giant spartan with marines and killing different kinds of aliens in "halo" and you're trying to keep truth (a bad guy) from activating all three halo rings and destroying the entire universe.

you have to play the first one to appreciate it i guess...
i love it though.

never played any of the halo games, but the original halo was the best selling video game for the xbox. It's kind of what Super Mario is for Nintendo in terms of popularity.

lol come on...you know don't you?? James Bond, 007.... Halo really isn't any different. Its all about how it makes you feel, and when you are running and jumping around shooting at people or trying to capture the flag....its pure adrenaline pumping competition for a lot of people. In fact I think I would play it with my boyfriend more often if I were actually good at it....but my thumbs just aren't coordinated for some reason.

There wouldn't be any harm in buying it I dont think. But make sure hes not addicted and wasting away to it..lol...the raping of the mind as the first guy said. Its true. :)

It's a violent game where you shoot people...apparently it's alot of fun...but I've never played the first or second one....I have an Xbox though...he can have mine, I don't use it often anyway.
