Why can I not play halo 3 ranked playlist team slayer.?

Hey all. I just bought Halo 3 and 3 months of gold access. I have been playing social and a little bit of Basic Training. I have tried numerous times to play the ranked team slayer, but it will not let me. The start matchmaking is greyed out and it says one more more players do not have the maps requier to play. What am I suppose to do? Do I have to gain a certain rank or are there certain maps I need to DL from marketplace?

Well, i guarantee it wont be the game. I bet you 100% that you have to play story mode. When you get through it, you will unlock new places to go to and open new maps. It happened on Army of 2 Xbox 360. Yes i absaloutly 1st rate guarantee put a chain on it and throw away the key you will have to play the game!
