Why can't I play the Heroic Map Pack on Halo 3? I have it downloaded.?

I can see it on my hard drive, when I go to console settings and hard drive, I can see it under Halo 3, but I don't see it on the actual game. Why is this? I downloaded it on a friend's Xbox 360 and used my hard drive, then took the hard drive to my house, if that helps.
