ok so at the end of halo 3 they fire the ring and kill the flood and stuff, but isnt that supposed to wipe out all sentient life in the galaxy, as in the humans dying too? if the rings wouldnt kill humans then why didnt they just let the covenant fire the rings in the first place. it makes no sense
