why do i lag on halo wars?

i barley lag on other games like call of duty 4, 5, mw2, or halo 3 but for some reason i get these little lags on halo wars

maybe you have a moderate connection, not good but not bad, or you can be laying with someone with a bad connection finally your disc could be scratched
