Why does my halo 3 lag ?

The only game that lags on my xbox 360 is Halo 3, my internet works fine with other games and on computer, its just Halo always lags and its starting to annoy me now. Only just started lagging like that this week, i get lagged of games cant even play them now.
How do i get it proffsionally cleaned? Also i have done nothing differnt with the disk since i last played it a few weeks ago, also it doesnt lag on single player.

The disc could be slightly damaged. Get it proffesionally cleaned, and then try it.

Bungie is probably having problems with xbox live, people in the games you play could be standbying. They are most likely standbying.
