Why does my xbox 360 not like Halo 3?

When I insert Halo 3 a white screened message comes up that says to insert the game into a valid console, and a different language appears. I bought another Halo 3 and it does the same thing. All other games work just fine. The games work fine on random occasions, so I know the discs are readable. Why is my xbox doing this to only Halo?

Just let the system boot up without the game in it leave it for a few minutes and than put in Halo 3. It worked for me.

my does the same thing i ever bought a new disc.....its the xbox 360.
