use the n word? I love halo 3 live, but i swear its the only place where i find whitey using the n word. im like dang, is this how they really feel? i mean they reallllly abuse that word! but is it because yall cant use it and yall feel good when you use it? n yea this is to my white folks.

you know I always wondered that too. I'm filipina by the way with hawaiian blood. I'm not black or anything but like i have friends who are also filipino and they use that word sometimes when they talk to me which I find to be ignorance. I guess it's like saying dude now or whatever. I usually tell'em to watch out who they say it too.

To be honest, besides the fact that most kids on there are like 12. It's because black people take so much offense to it. Political correctness is the downfall of diversity. Don't get all uptight when white people use it and they won't. Same thing as a someone picking on a fat kid, if the fat kid starts laughing with them they will stop because it quits being fun and taboo.

Well I'm not White, but I feel like it has something to do with what Blacks call the "One Drop Rule" which means that even if you have the SMALLEST amount of Black ancestry, that you're Black, no matter how you slice it. I see this a lot with people that are mixed with African American and Caucasian. They're automatically labeled as being Black and are accepted by Blacks more. But that also depends on if the person of mixed race is raised around predominantly Black or White people.

They say the n word because they can. They are pretending to be rebels and bad boys. You can insist that any site you go to maintain a decent level of non-offensive language. On Yahoo Answers, we do it by reporting offensive posts. I don't know how you do it on halo3, but you need to find out and prevent nasty little idiots from ruining a site that you enjoy.
