Why is it so easy to level up in Halo 3 even I have reached level 40 and

in Halo 2 I was a level 25? The highest I ever reached in Halo 2 was a level 29 but I was usually around level 22-25.

Because Like other guy said the xp system is different theyve done online updates to it 4 times because when the game first came out it was to hard to level up now they updated it to where it easier , hell its still hard to reach level 100 though , if you do it givs you an in game book to read must be unlocked and a congratulations slide
