why is it that i cant join my friends network on halo 1?

i've been trying to join my friends networ on halo but i just cant.. why i it? what am i doing wrong .. and he cant join mines either .. in fact no one ever joins to our networks.. is something blocking us..??? please help me!!!

You have to download the Strings.dll file, its needed for it, and should have came with it, or it may be corrupt, download it by clicking the link below.
