Why wont Halo 3 just die?

I am referring to the "halo fad" will it ever die?

Well theres no denying the Halo series are great games I have 1 and 2, played 3 in a electronics shop, but as for your question, as long as sequels are made i doubt it will, i mean look at all the hype for the new GTA game out April 29th, unless the people who make the Halo games, bungie?, make a severe stuff up im afraid we'll be hearing about it for years to come being the one of the main games for Microsofts XBox consoles
