Will Halo 3 burn into an LCD TV screen?

Will playing Halo 3 for a while burn the HUD and stuff into the screen? How long will it take?
Is there anything to do to prevent this from happening? Any special programs or things I should do (like change the contrast)?

yes! you'll have to put up a white blank screen on your tv; i hooked up my laptop to my tv and opened a blank page from powerpoint. i kept it up for 15 minutes.
