I own Halo 2 and 3, and trust me, you're not missing anything! is just as boring as Turok, and I can't even consider it a real FPS due to the lack of aiming (similar to Turok's and Haze's).
Besides, it is a big letdown and just one more game out there that doesn't require to be played.
But no, it will not come out on the PS3 because it was made by Bungie and owned by Microsoft, which clearly stated that the Halo series will stay on the Xbox consoles and it would be available for PC sometime.
Just think of it as MGS4, is a PS3 exclusive, just as Halo 3 is a XBOX360 exclusive.
Unless Microsoft was kind enough to give Sony Halo 3 and Sony was kind enough to give Microsoft MGS4 =P.

Only if multi-billion microsoft are willing to make the xbox seem near worthless, though bungie have recently seperated from microsoft it's unlikely microsoft will allow it. Game companies are VERY touchy when allowing their stars to escape. You should see nintendo.
