Would this be a decent idea to solve the "Halo" movies problems?

Ok what i have heard is that no studio will pay for the movie, becasue its supposed to be like $100 mill. Now on the solution.

There are many halo fanatics out there, all it would take is for 1,000,000 of those fans to send in $100 bucks to jackson, or a studio, or something towards the movie the fans would get their movie, i would donate $100 bucks so they could make the movie. than i can see it!
