XBOX 360 Halo 3 owners, I do not have an XBOX 360 at the moment for the reason that I can't afford one yet, and second because of the complaints of the XBOX 360's failures.
Because I have seen that Halo 1 and Halo 2 rock, do you recommend me taking the risk of getting an XBOX 360 to get Halo 3?
And from 1-10, How awesome would you consider Halo 3?

I have Xbox 360. As long as you take care of them they will last long. And they extended the warranty on them just in case. The first Xbox's they released were the ones that were failing all the time so the newer ones are more sturdy.

I also have Halo 3, but I'm not sure if you will like it. It is a really game with the best campaign than any game I have. The multiplayer is also very fun, but also challenging. It will take time getting used to.

Halo 3 has a very large community, mostly because it is the main game for MLG ( Major League Gaming ). Major league gaming is mostly for the xbox and you travel to an event with a team of your's and you compete against other halo teams to get to the top. And you can win up to 100,000

Now back on topic, If you are a competitive gamer you will probably like it but there are a lot of things to learn. If you are a casual gamer it is also pretty fun when you get 3 people to team with and play games with them. You can also play customs where you can make you gametype and all in all it is a very fun game.

You don't have to just get an xbox for Halo 3. There are a lot of good games that you could also get, so don't limit yourself.

Rating- Since I am a competitve gamer I give this game an 9 out of 10.
Solely on the fact that Halo 2 was amazing and way more competitve and they made Halo 3 a bit more easier to appeal more the casual gamers. Not that big of a deal though.

I have Halo 3 and I like it a lot. I've heard about the 360 failures, but I've also heard that Microsoft is really good about replacing bad units, so I went ahead and got one. I would've got a PS3 except there are several 360 exclusive games I wanted like Halo 3 and Fable 2 and Mass Effect. Anyway, I'd say take the chance on the 360. It's a lot of fun! Just make sure you don't close it in an unventilated box or something.

Go for it! Halo 3 is an excellent game with a huge online community. Don't worry too much about the failure rate of the xbox, mine died after 2 years but Microsoft are replacing it for free. The newer xboxes being sold now are far less likely to fail.

Buy it, you'll enjoy Halo 3 a lot!

Yes, you should get the Xbox 360. They fixed most of the failure. It wont overheat as bad as the older models did. You will be safe with a new one. I think the failure rate on the new one is less then 6%.
Now to Halo 3. Halo 3 is a G-R-E-A-T game.
Halo 3's campaign ain't the greatest. I give the campaign a 8.
But, I give Halo 3 ONLINE a big FAT 10. I love the online on halo 3.

Hope I Helped!

I was in this exact same situation about a year ago, the only difference(possibly) is that I'm a big PC gamer. Halo 3 was incredibly fun, but looking back on it, that was probably because all my friends were playing the same game at that time. However, if you are a pc gamer i would not recommend an xbox 360 as most games come out for both and its hard to recommend a 360 for halo 3 alone.

Well, if you buy a new XBOX now you don't have to worry about the problems. I bought one last May and its manufactured date was last Sept, after all the problems.

With the new XBOX experience, its actually getting alot cooler so yeah, you should get one. And all those COD fans will say HALO sucks, but HALO 3 is still a good game if you loved the other two, hell yeah its worth it.
