xbox live halo 3 trouble?

hey can people help i want to play match making online but when ever i press on xbox live it says im not allowed whats wrong

and i have xbox live

could be multiple things....

- you may just be using a trial which doesn't allow you to play in ranked matches.

- you have a silver membership

- XBOX or Bungie thinks you've been modded your xbox and have banned you

- you are trying to play with a guest in a playlist that doesn't allow guests

- you've been suspended or banned for having too many players leave negative feedback on you.
